A magnetic dry erase memo board is a great tool for managing a busy household and making sure that things don’t “fall through the cracks.”

Hang a magnetic dry erase memo board on your refrigerator or the main exit door of your home. Then, use the dry erase marker to leave important reminder notes (or love notes) for yourself or other family members. Add a few magnets, and you’ve got yourself a simple system for keeping track of appointment cards, sports schedules, and grocery coupons for the coming week.

Create a filing system that works for you. If you tend to have piles of paper on your desk, get a set of wire dividers. Store each of your current projects in a pretty file folder—bloom or dot.

You’’ll also want to thoughtfully evaluate each piece of paper that crosses your desk. Do you really need to save it? Keep in mind that 80% of papers that are filed are never referenced again! (Source: Small Business Administration)
